Predictions & Creating Positive Outcomes in 2009

We’ve stepped into 2009, and the long awaited Presidential inauguration rapidly approaches. It’s amazing how quickly time flies.

Many people have a tremendous amount of hope about what is to come. Hold on to that hope. Continue to build upon it, and upon our visions of a thriving American economy and a society of healthy people celebrating “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

If what is already happening is any indication, our government’s actions in 2009 will not be what the majority of people in the United States are hoping to experience. We’re likely to see ‘change’, but will it be ‘positive’ in the overall scheme of things? Hmm. We’ll see.

Whatever actually occurs in the world, it is critically important that the People continue to create and hold a positive vision for the future, for ourselves, for the United States of America, and for the world.

We’ve all heard that this is a time when everything comes together and shifts to a higher level. Do you feel it? I certainly do. Part of what moves everything forward is all of the ‘muck’ that comes up to be cleared away. Well, we’re in the muck up to our necks.

(It’s time for ‘cleaning’, as Ho’oponopono calls it. If you’re interested in reading more about Ho’oponopono, go to my December newsletter. http://miracleinspirations.blogspot.com/)

When the majority of the population is living in fear, it is up to those of us who are ‘conscious and aware’ to intentionally hold the vision and the energy of where we’re heading. When the car is swerving out of control, the outcomes are better when we steer intentionally. And the more of us who are steering, the easier the road will be.

I think we are more effective at holding the vision and energy when we are aware of what situations may be coming our way. I’d rather drive with my eyes open, rather than squeezing them shut and praying that it will all be okay.

So what can we reasonably expect in 2009? Considering what Obama promised while campaigning, the actions he has already taken in making appointments, and the U.S. and world situations, the following predictions are reasonable.

This was written by Michael Delavar, the Republican candidate for the House of Representatives this past November. Delavar is a supporter of the U.S. Constitution as the supreme law of the land. And I agree with his predictions 100%.

Thank you for your time and energy today. And if you choose to join me in ‘steering’ our country into the future, thank you so very much.

New Year Predictions

I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and yes, a happy new year celebration. In the spirit of new year predictions, I have included my top ten predictions for 2009. May the good ones come true.

1) The invocation by Pastor Warren at Obama⍊s inauguration will be anti-climatic, despite the Left’s fears and not nearly as satisfying as the Right would wish it to be. The ones most happy with the performance will be the media.

2) President Obama will surprise many conservatives by sounding far more reasonable than they had thought he would sound. His rhetoric will be far from the expected radical socialist agenda of his campaign rhetoric. However, that will be the sugar that makes the medicine go down easier. The reality is that his term will be characterized by bigger gover nment, less freedom, and more power given to the UN. There will be some very strong focal points that will galvanize conservatives, such as the issue of abortion.

3) Obama and his advisors will stress the need for “responsible sovereignty” and “global governance” which won’t sound too horrible. However, both of these phrases will be their code for loss of sovereignty and increasing world government.

4) More evidence will surface that global warming is not the doomsday end of the world issue that it was once thought, but the politics of global warming will continue on the same course, supposedly in the name of “being safe anyway.” More liberty will be lost in the name of protecting the environment.

5) Diplomacy with other nations will be the c enterpiece of the Obama administration. His skills at attempting to bring together all sides will lead many to believe that we are not being “hard enough” with some foreign powers. This will lead to a dichotomy of “hardliners” who want belligerence and “liberals” who want to give away our sovereignty. The third option, respect for individual liberty and freedom will be marginalized by the mainstream media and the talking heads. The talking heads will declare that “isolationism” is dangerous while we lose our sovereignty and freedom.

6) The US dollar will fade in importance on the international scene. As different countries chose to use different reserve currencies, a dollar crisis will come about. There will be two main options given in the mainstream press, neither of which will return the United States to financial independence. One option will be a new international currency managed by unelected central bankers. The other option will be “doing nothing” which will be given as a “non-option,” that will supposedly never lead to a recovery. Treating currency as a commodity will not be touted by the mainstream media, even though that would be the only true option for financial independence.

7) The timeline for withdrawal in Iraq will become less important as the Afghanistan war increases in importance. More troops will be needed in Afghanistan as the violence escalates. A clear cut declaration of war will never surface, and the purpose of the war in Afghanistan will be as murky as it was in Iraq. Hard lefties will be upset at Obama for continuing in the war traditions of Bush, but not enough to demand he change course.

8) There will be a new program put forward by the Obama administration similar to the “Thousand Points of Light” that will be an effort to unite Americans in a sense of civic duty. It will be put forward as an alternative to the draft. This civic service will be sold to Americans as patriotism, but will be largely compulsory.

9) Contrary to many people’s predictions, the Republican Party will not fade away, but will remake itself as the “hardline” party that advocates for a more belligerent stance against America’s foreign adversaries. This will marginalize efforts to call for peace within the Republican Party. The new “left/right” paradigm will be one of contrasting giving away sovereignty to world government on one side with aggressively going to war against other nations on the other.

10) American government will remain nominally three separate branches with a Constitution that is increasingly ignored. However, the reality of the seat of power will be increasingly in unelected panels and bureaucracies. These bureaucracies will “harmonize” our regulations so that they are similar to other nations. This move will ma ke Congress less and less relevant. Congress will also show its disinterest in following the wishes of the people, just as with the $700 billion bailout.

If you want to have a different new year, it is going to take some work. Please visit www.campaignforliberty.com to see what you can do to avert these predictions. It will only be through a massive grassroots activist campaign dedicated to freedom that we can avoid losing the last vestiges of freedom in America. Many Americans have demonstrated their lack of love for liberty recently. I am convinced that many would not recognize it anymore. However, there is still a remnant.

For those who speak in religious terms, a political solution may seem like the wrong tack. I agree partially. Biblically speaking, America needs a m oral revival. Our culture needs to have a renewed awakening to the Absolute Truth that does not change. Without a recognition of this, I believe that God will pronounce His judgment on our nation in a million subtle ways. In order that God may still forgive our nation and smile on it again, a moral revival is necessary. Assuming that moral revival happens in time for God to turn away His wrath, it will be necessary to have a grassroots network of educated citizens ready to take back the political seats of power, and return to the limited government that was the anomaly in world history.

Individual liberty is the exception, not the norm in world history. Let us hope that with your efforts, we can recapture the freedom our founding fathers fought for before another revolution is necessary.

Sincerely,

Michael Delavar
